Nutraceuticals and Questra Clinical Research Explore NC-107 Clinical Trials in Malaysia

Nutraceuticals Corporation and Questra Clinical Research Enter into Confidentiality Agreement to Explore NC-107 Clinical Trials in Malaysia

October 7, 2026 — Malaysia / United States

Nutraceuticals Corporation (“Nutraceuticals”) and Questra Clinical Research, a Malaysia-based contract research organisation (“CRO”), have entered into a Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) to facilitate discussions regarding the potential development and conduct of clinical trials for NC-107 in Malaysia.

The CDA, entered into on October 7, 2026, establishes a confidential framework for the parties to exchange technical, clinical, regulatory and development information as they evaluate the feasibility of advancing NC-107 through a Malaysian clinical development pathway.

NC-107 is an investigational inhaled product being developed for anxiety-related indications. NC-107 has not been approved for commercial sale, and its safety and efficacy have not been established by the relevant regulatory authorities.

Under the CDA, Nutraceuticals and Questra may evaluate matters including clinical-trial feasibility, potential study design, investigator and site capabilities, bioanalytical requirements, regulatory considerations, operational requirements and the potential pathway for conducting clinical research in Malaysia.

Questra brings experience as a Malaysia-based commercial CRO with clinical and bioanalytical capabilities and experience operating within applicable Malaysian regulatory and international clinical research frameworks. The parties will undertake further diligence to determine the appropriate role, scope and feasibility of any future collaboration.

Malaysia as a Potential Clinical Development Hub

Malaysia offers an established clinical research environment, a sophisticated healthcare infrastructure and access to experienced investigators, hospitals, research institutions and clinical research organisations.

For Nutraceuticals, the exploration of Malaysia forms part of its broader objective of establishing an evidence-based clinical and regulatory development pathway for NC-107 in Asia.

“Entering into the CDA with Questra is an important step in our evaluation of Malaysia as a potential clinical development jurisdiction for NC-107,” said Sean Berrier, Chief Executive Officer of Nutraceuticals Corporation.

“Before making any commitment to a Malaysian clinical programme, we intend to work through the evidence systematically — including the clinical, regulatory, operational and site requirements. This process is designed to ensure that any future study is appropriately structured and supported.”

Dr Henry Punzi, Chief Clinical Officer of Nutraceuticals Corporation, said:

“The CDA with Questra provides a structured framework for evaluating the feasibility of conducting NC-107 clinical research in Malaysia. Our immediate focus is on understanding the scientific, clinical, regulatory and operational requirements necessary to design an appropriately controlled clinical programme. Any decision to proceed will be based on the outcome of this evaluation and the applicable regulatory and ethical requirements.”

Next Steps

Following execution of the CDA, the parties expect to continue discussions and information exchange concerning:

- Malaysian clinical-trial regulatory requirements;
- potential clinical study design and feasibility;
- investigator and clinical-site capabilities;
- clinical and bioanalytical requirements;
- applicable ethics and regulatory submissions;
- study operations, timelines and indicative costs; and
- the potential structure of a future clinical-trial engagement.

No decision has yet been made regarding the appointment of Questra as the CRO for NC-107 in Malaysia, and no clinical trial has commenced under this CDA. Any future clinical programme will remain subject to appropriate regulatory, ethical, scientific, operational and commercial assessment and approvals.
